1st Restaurant Recommendation - Kitchen

It’s quite common for us to hear horror stories of people having bad service/ food in certain dining establishments that just make you wanna cringe. Stories of the contrary are (usually) then drowned out by the roars of angry customers wanting to get back at these restaurants by discouraging their friends and family from returning to these places.

I, myself, am no food critic but I am able to appreciate good food that is served with great service. So I wanted to share the good dining experience I had tonight at Kitchen in Greenbelt 3…

Allow me to start by saying that I love the ambiance of this place. It had this unpretentious canteen vibe that I was really feeling.

It had really cool statement decorative pieces as well that gave it its unique quality such as these light fixtures.

It felt like the kind of place where you wouldn’t be afraid to make a little mess when you eat and I love that!

I came with Solenn and Mitch after our late night yoga ‘sesh’. We were all so excited to eat.

Watermelon and grape shake.

Solenn got the fresh buko shake.

The lettuce wraps.

Yummy ‘Green Minded’ salad.

Tuna rolls.

Why we loved it here:

  1. The food was good
  2. Everything was affordable
  3. Service was good and fast

The moment anything hit our table this group of three girls devoured everything before you could say “hungry”. We ordered everything to share which was smart since the servings were also pretty big.

In the end we we were completely satisfied. We were full but not to the point where we regretted anything we ate or felt bad for overeating. It was just right. So in the end I had the idea of asking them how they would score their overall dining experience at Kitchen out of 5. Here’s what they said…

Solenn gave it a 4.

Mitch - a 5.

I gave them a perfect score of 5 as well.

I would recommend anyone to eat here. This is now one of my top 10 favorite restaurants here in Manila.
